Windows 11 Pro will soon require a Microsoft Account

this morning,  Microsoft has confirmed that a Microsoft Account will be required for those who wish to run Windows 11 Pro on their desktop PCs. The company initially revealed that Windows 11 would require a Microsoft Account during Build last month, but didn't follow up on that statement until now...

One of the biggest changes that Microsoft has brought to its operating system is for those who constantly use Windows 11 Pro. With this update, the company added a window login options that require a Microsoft Account in order to access the operating system's functions.

Microsoft Corp recently said that its Windows 11 operating system will soon require a Microsoft account to use certain features, including the ability to download store applications, sync browser settings and more. The switch came into effect with the release of version 20H2. This change is meant to simplify the user experience across devices with the same Microsoft account.
